Hellerstein Lecture Series
The Hellerstein Literary Reading & Lecture Series at MassArt made a return for the first time after COVID. I was tasked with creating promotional posters, social media posts, and digital banners for the event. For this event, the themes of community and legacies were explored. Ekua Holmes's beautiful collage work inspired the design direction with the cut-out figures and paper textures. Combining these themes and design direction, I came up with the idea of the looping string. While it acts as a design element, it also carries the symbolism of the connecting legacies which serves as the focal point for the event.

For the Humanities Department, I adopted a simple and clear icon system to utilize across all materials. Each poster has an 8.5x11, 18x24, and/or 24x36 size design, depending on the requirements of the department.
